In the beginning the other side didn't want to accept any blame and their settlement amount was very very low. The opposing lawyers gave every indication that they didn't think my case had a chance and made the process as unfriendly as possible. The opposing lawyers were rude and dismissive to both me and Joe over the phone, in email and in person. I honestly for some time gave up on any settlement and expected to go to court and lose due to the nature of the case and the city it happened in. Eventually the opposing lawyers made another offer, but it was still very low. In the end Joe was able to work his magic and literally at the last minute the other lawyers doubled their offer to a reasonable amount. The case took about 2+ years and in all I am satisfied with the outcome. I didn't have to go to court and ended up with a fair amount. Joe has a great personality and is clearly highly skilled.

Jose, was not my original attorney. He took over my case & I immediately noticed the difference. When most lawyers won't return your calls or keep it real with you, he was the opposite. He was always available & returned calls in a timely manner, which usually was the same day. If he needed more time to research the answer regarding my case, I still received an update from him via a phone call or text or e-mail. He would let me know he would contact me again once he had an answer to my question. Now, some of the answers were not what I wanted to hear, but good or bad he relayed the answer to me & I appreciated the honesty.

Mr. Guerrero Gave Me Great Advice And Help In Internet Libel Case

A few months ago, a frivolous lawsuit was initiated against me over claims that involved online defamation and libel. The lawsuit was against "John or Jane Doe", as the plaintiff did not know my true identity. However, to overcome that obstacle, my opponent would of course attempt to use the power of the court to unmask my identity during the discovery process.

As far as I was concerned, the main reason behind the lawsuit was to silence criticism of the plaintiff's organization. Basically, it was an attempt to uncover the identity of an anonymous internet critic (me) for the express purpose of harassing and embarrassing me in retaliation for my criticisms of the plaintiff's organization. The plaintiff's legal counsel served subpoenas upon Google, Inc and a couple of internet service providers in their attempt to discover my identity. However, thanks to Joe's helpful advice and guidance in this case, the lawsuit was voluntarily dropped by the plaintiff after the judge refused to rule in favor of the Plaintiff's Motion to over-rule objections to their subpoenas.
